2019 Edouard Delaunay Beaune 1er Cru Greves

Whiffs of ash, cut stone, white pepper and blackberry introduce this penetrating expression of Les Grèves, the largest premier-cru appellation in Beaune. Luscious and penetrating in black-cherry and plum flavors, it's a pleasantly sappy, piquantly spiced wine marked by lashes of vanilla, clove and camphor. Fresh acidity and fine, softly gripping tannins lend structure. At peak from 2024 through 2030, the wine will hold further.
