The debut 2019 Dominio de Calogía is a wine that sets the bar for a characterful, classical, elegant and balanced Ribera del Duero red; it has a velvety mouthfeel, ripeness and oak without excess and good aging potential. It has textbook parameters—14.9% alcohol and a pH of 3.59—and a toasty and generous profile reflecting a warm and dry year and an élevage in French oak barrels of 14 months. 25,923 bottles and 1,267 magnums produced. It was bottled in April 2021.
