2018 Au Pied du Mont Chauve Saint-Aubin Charmois Rouge

This 2018 Le Charmois suggests ripe, juicy tones of blackberry and raspberry balanced by a bristling spine of red currant and sour cherry. Ripe yet piercing and pure in fruit, it's a luminous Pinot Noir lifted by streaks of stony, salty minerality. At peak now, the wine should hold well through 2034.
