2018 Au Peid Mont Chauve Chassagne Montrachet 'La Maltroie'

Sharp whiffs of thyme and sage are brightened by lemon and white grapefruit in this full-bodied, juicy Chardonnay. Lavishly oaked, it is herbal yet pristine and piercing in fruit. This powerful, fresh-fruited Chassagne drinks well young but should improve through 2035 and hold further still.
