Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Buckeye Vineyard has a wonderful spicy/incense-laced nose over a core of blackcurrant cordial, preserved plums and blackberry pie plus hints of cedar and mocha. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and sporting loads of exotic spice accents, the flamboyant palate is well framed by firm, ripe, grainy tannins, and it finishes with leapfrogging coffee and chocolate notions.
