2015 Duclaux Le Germine Cote Rotie

The base cuvée is the 2015 Côte Rôtie La Germine, which incorporates 3% Viognier, comes from the southern end of the appellation (the lieux-dits of Coteaux de Tupin, Tupin and Coteaux de Bassenon), and will see 20 months in 15% new French oak. It’s young, primary and unevolved, with lots of floral aromas and flavors, blue fruit and even a hint of peach in its medium to full-bodied, pure, polished style.
