2015 August Kesseler 'Junge Reben' Riesling Trocken

Sourced, as its name suggests, from relatively young vines in Lorch, Lorchhausen and (to a lesser extent) Rüdesheim, this cuvée delivers an infectiously juicy meld of fresh apple and lime infused with green tea, laced with oregano and underlain with wet stone. A polished feel and buoyant finish add to its elegant aura and irresistible appeal. Here is an outstanding example of the clarity, levity (at barely 12 percent alcohol) and sheer drinkability for which Kesseler strives in all of his Rieslings.
