2014 Bressler Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

This Bressler starts out with darker aromas of cacao dusted chocolate truffle, molasses, cigar box, coffee bean, and plum, then moves to raspberry, dried violet, sandalwood, and just a hint of vanilla bean. Flavors in the mouth mirror the aromatic expression almost perfectly due to the balance of extract and body. Quite rare (and quite a treat!) to taste all these flavors so clearly in a young Cabernet. When the flavors are this generous at this stage, it’s part of the wine’s DNA, and you can expect more of the same 1, 2, 5,10, and 15+ years from now.
