2013 Batzella Tam Bolgheri Superiore

The 2013 Tâm is one of the best wines I have tasted from Batzella. A classic Maremma wine, the 2013 exudes richness, aromatic intensity and exceptional depth. At the same time, a reduction in new oak seems to really allow for the purity of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to shine. This is a polished and beautifully refined wine from proprietors Franco Batzella and Khanh Nguyen.
