2007 Fontanafredda Barolo Riserva

The 2007 Barolo Riserva Tenimenti Fontanafredda is a stunning wine that shows impressive momentum and weight. The wine sites firmly on the palate, imparting deep layers of black fruit, spice and smoke all the while. At its core, however, this gorgeous wine is laced with delicate licorice, hummus and menthol tones. It drinks well already, with a super-elegant and tight mouthfeel, but will greatly benefit from more time in the bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2015-2025.
