2007 Erba Proprietary Red

More complex is the 2007 Proprietary Red Wine, a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Complex notes of bay leaf, tobacco leaf, black currants, charcoal, earth and licorice are followed by a beautifully textured, full-bodied wine revealing superb purity, depth and richness. A sleeper of the vintage, while drinkable now, it is capable of lasting 15+ years.
