2000 Warre's Vintage Port 1.5L

This is starting to hit its stride, with a strapping feel to its mix of fig, blackberry and boysenberry compote flavors pushed from behind by brambly grip, a tarry edge and extra waves of licorice snap, Christmas pudding and dark earth. The chewy finish has muscle and drive. Still needs a little time. -- Blind 2000 Vintage Port retrospective (March 2021). Best from 2025 through 2040.
