The hot, dry summer progressed into the ideal autumn where warm days were countered by cool nights. Harvest was fairly long, lasting from 28 September to 12 October. Farinetti believes it was around this time that fermentation switched from cement to stainless steel tanks. This has subtle potpourri and nutmeg on the nose with flecks of incense and minerality.
