1978 Chateau de Laubade

The bright, elegant nose begins with aromas of maple, candied orange peel, nutmeg, and vanilla bean, with distinct leather and incense. In the mouth it’s honeyed, nutty, and fruity, but balanced by a stunning, silky midpalate of green tea and tobacco, and a lengthy, textbook rancio finish. Seamless and classic.
