Helen Keplinger is a name to know in Napa Valley. She was first recognized as a “winemaker to watch” by Wine Spectator in 2011, subsequently named 2012 ‘Winemaker of the Year’ by Food & Wine Magazine, and was honored with the cover feature of a 2014 Spectator issue. Working with names like Bryant Family Vineyard, Fort Ross Vineyard & Winery, and several wineries in Australia and Spain, she has developed a reputation for distinctive and age-worthy wines. Along with her own project, Keplinger Wines—which Wine Spectator called “one of the most exciting and innovative wineries to emerge in California in years”—Keplinger also consults for a select number of California wineries. Today we’re thrilled to unveil the newest vintage of Vermillion, an opulent blend from Sonoma and the Sierra Foothills that Jeb Dunnuck calls a “beautiful wine well worth seeking out.” This wine absolutely overdelivers its modest price, and Concierge-only discounts will make you do a double take!

The 2018 Vermillion shows the breadth of Keplinger’s experience and expertise within California winemaking. The team works closely with grape growers from small vineyard sites in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and the Sierra Foothills, and the 2018 is a blend of predominantly Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It aged 16 months in 100% French oak and boasts a profile of raspberry, cherry, herbs, and pepper. This is a delicious and hand-crafted wine that you can enjoy for weeknight dinners as well as pop open for special occasions. Our limited-time pricing can save you more than 25%, so don’t delay in placing your order today!
