The 2010 vintage, likewise, scored double 100s; The Wine Advocate declared it "a monster-in-the-making, with loads of mulberry, coffee, licorice and black cherry notes... stunningly rich, full-bodied and more tannic and classic than the 2009.” The 2011 vintage might not be quite in the company of those two, but it wowed the Wine Enthusiast, which hailed it, in a 97-point review, for being "extravagantly perfumed" with "great juicy, ripe fruits" that make for "a wine that is both fresh and powerful.”
